Enchanted Baby Dance™ (Age: Walking-3): Offered in 6 week sessions. A parent/caretaker involved class that introduces the young dancer to movement, music, and rhythm through creative movement and basic ballet. The class also helps prepare them to be in a class by themselves in a fun learning environment.
Enchanted Dance™ (Age: 3-5): A tap and ballet combo class for young dancers. Dancers are introduced to dance terminology, listening skills, rhythm, basic ballet and tap skills, as well as creative movement. Dancers enjoy learning in an imaginative, safe, and non-competitive environment.
Tap: Tap dance classes explore the traditions of Rhythm tap and Broadway tap. Dancers use the sounds of their tap shoes to strike the floor as a form of percussion. There is a focus on the technique of footwork as well as rhythm combinations.
Jazz: Explores all styles of Jazz dance learning isolations of the body, combinations, turns & leaps, as well as stretching & strengthening. Individual expression and the development of personal style is encouraged.
Ballet: Ballet is the foundation of dance. Technique, flexibility, balance, body alignment, and strength are achieved through barre and center floor work.
Hip Hop: A high energy class using today’s music in combination with street-style movement. The use of freestyle movement also lets dancers develop their own sense of style. Hip hop helps the dancer develop coordination, self expression, and is great exercise!
Family Hip Hop: Always wanted to try hip hop and get some exercise with your kids, family member, or friend? A fun Hip Hop class for the whole family! Moms, dads, kids, aunts, uncles, friends...Come try this class! We don’t care if you have two left feet! Absolute beginners welcome.
Lyrical: Lyrical Dance relies on a direct relationship between the songs and the movement. The dancer uses expressive emotion to tell a story by interpreting the music.
Contemporary/Modern: Contemporary Dance combines elements of Modern Dance and Classical Ballet.
Acro Dance: Combines dance with basic tumbling skills and acrobatics.
Zumba: Zumba is a fitness class that incorporates dance and aerobic elements. Get ready to sweat using different styles of latin dance: Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Reggeaton, Flamenco, Soca, Samba, as well as hip hop and pop styles!
Fitness\Barre Class: Strengthens, stretches, and sculptures the entire body. The class includes warmup, upper body conditioning, core, alignment, floor and barre exercises and cool-down.
